Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js/TypeScript)
to join our team full-time in the Czech Republic.

About the role:
As a Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js/TypeScript), become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.
Responsibilities:
Take full ownership of end-to-end development of key features in identity and access management
Work with cutting-edge AI to enhance development and security workflows
Drive technical excellence and help shape the architecture of our platform
Collaborate with a small but strong team of 4 developers and a team lead, contributing your expertise and leadership to raise the technical bar
Optimize and scale authentication and authorization systems with OAuth, JWT, SAML, WebAuthn, and more
Build and optimize services using NestJS (Node.js), TypeScript, and AWS
Take ownership of complex challenges, working both independently and within the team
Requirements:
A highly skilled Backend Developer with 6+ years of experience, specializing in NestJS, Node.js
Experience working in high-scale production environments - Must
Analytic thinking - Independent people who can lead the development of new features - Must
Deeply passionate about writing clean, efficient, and scalable code leveraging AI tools
A problem solver who loves working with AI and using it to boost productivity
Experienced in designing and implementing complex distributed systems
Comfortably leading technical decisions and mentoring the team
Hands-on with authentication, security, and identity management (SSO etc.) - Great Advantage
Experience with Kafka, Redis, MySQL, OAuth, JWT, AWS is a strong advantage, and familiarity with MongoDB is a plus
