Senior Backend Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join a team responsible for developing the backend that supports Industrial Decision Intelligence solutions.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of professional experience in backend development;
• Solid experience with NestJS, TypeScript, MongoDB and PostgreSQL;
• In-depth knowledge of backend architecture, API design and database modelling;
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines;
• Experience in documenting and testing APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger and Postman;
• Experience with Microsoft Azure would be an advantage;
• Strong focus on developing clean, sustainable, easily maintainable and thoroughly tested software;
• Good problem-solving skills and analytical thinking;
• Fluency in English;
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance the backend platform using NestJS and TypeScript;
• Develop reliable and scalable REST APIs and WebSocket services;
• Design scalable data models and translate complex business requirements into robust database schemas;
• Work with MongoDB and PostgreSQL;
• Take responsibility for implementation, deployment, cloud infrastructure and CI/CD processes on Microsoft Azure;
• Promote engineering quality through code reviews, testing, documentation and architectural decisions;
• Document and test APIs using tools such as OpenAPI/Swagger and Postman;
• Collaborate closely with the AI, Frontend, Product and QA teams to build robust and reliable systems used to support critical planning decisions.

Full-Remote (Portugal)

Salary range: 54 000,00€ – 55 000,00€ annual gross.
