We build a unified manufacturing platform by integrating SCADA systems, PLC and HMI data, and traditional MES/WMS capabilities. Our Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) solution enables manufacturers to measure and manage carbon emissions, helping them make more sustainable decisions through data.

About the Software Engineer Team & Role

The Software Engineer Team is at the core of Glassdome's manufacturing platform and Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) solutions.

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems that process manufacturing and carbon emissions data. Working closely with Product Managers, Frontend Engineers, and other cross-functional teams, you'll help build reliable, high-performance systems that support our growing platform and customers.

You'll also contribute to technical decisions, improve engineering practices, and help drive the team's technical excellence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with Go is a plus.
• Experience building large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with microservices; knowledge of gRPC and Protocol Buffers is a plus.
• Proficiency with SQL Working at Glassdome and caching mechanisms.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
• Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools is a strong plus.

Working at Glassdome

• The position begins with a three-month probationary period, followed by conversion to permanent employment based on a performance evaluation. Full salary is provided during the probationary period.
• Remote work is available. Our office is located near Samseong Station in Seoul, and most work is performed remotely or from the office unless onsite attendance is required.
