Brown & Brown is seeking a Senior Benefits Analyst to join our growing team in Marlton, NJ! The purpose of a Senior Benefits Analyst is to p rovide client service support to Employee Benefits team through benefit administration, customer service, and efficient processes to support the retention of clients. How You Will Contribute: Provide excellent customer service to the clients’ employee membership by researching and resolving inquiries in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines, and communicating findings back to the employee, client, and/or appropriate account team. Assist in the training and development of new teammates to ensure successful acclimation to the profit center and clear understanding of the defined processes and procedures related to the customer service/member advocacy and enrollment functions. Process client requests for eligibility changes, including new enrollments, terminations, and other election and demographic changes with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. Understand health and benefits products, services, and tools in order to educate membership of what is available through their existing program(s). Document and maintain client information in agency management database in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines. Partner with Account Executive teams to process and file Insurance Operations (IO) compliance documents into the agency management database for renewals and new business, and assist with ad hoc projects. Establish, cultivate, and manage relations with carriers, vendors, and clients. Conduct routine audits to ensure client requests are reflected accurately. Assist in client specific projects as assigned, including but not limited to preparing annual enrollment materials for the service team. Participate in training opportunities to remain current on technology, industry information, new product development, legislation, and coverages . Licenses & Certifications: Insurance Producer license in good standing (Life, Health and Accident, and other authorities in states needed to service the assigned book of business). Required within 60 days of hire. Skills & Experience to be Successful: 3+ years of experience in insurance industry/group benefits, human resources, or related field . Working knowledge in employee benefit insurance coverages . Proficient knowledge in computer-based programs including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher). Proficient knowledge of use of office equipment (including but not limited to copy machines, printers, faxes, binding machine , etc.) Pay Range 65000 - 70000 Annual The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
