Senior Bookkeeper - Accounting Firm

The role:

• End to end bookkeeping for clients across a range of industries and sizes.
• Banking, payroll, GST lodgment, reconciliations, PAYG reporting, invoicing, AP/AR and other core duties.
• Client contact via phone and email.
• Supervise and support a team of bookkeepers and junior staff.
• Manage workflow and delegate to the team.
• Assist accountants and process client records.
• Contribute to process and system improvements.

Key Skills We're Looking For:

• Collaboration: Team player who contributes ideas and coaches others.
• Client Management: Build strong relationships and provide commercial solutions.
• Project Administration: Manage workloads, deadlines, and priorities.
• Communication: Clear, high-quality communication with clients and team.

Key Competencies:

• 3+ years in an Australian public practice firm or bookkeeping business managing multiple clients.
• Strong ability to manage competing priorities.
• Solid problem-solving skills to help your clients navigate any issues
• Genuine commitment to development & growth.
