Senior Business Analyst – Asset Management Transformation

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Your Profile & DNA:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to lead business analysis activities for a large-scale Asset Management Transformation Program. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and solution architects to ensure business requirements are accurately captured, validated, and translated into effective solutions that align with strategic business objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis activities across a large-scale asset management transformation program.
• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis to identify business needs and solution alignment.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and stakeholder meetings.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and project teams.
• Drive business decision-making sessions and influence solution design based on business value.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure requirements are translated into effective solutions.
• Support testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and business validation.
• Assist with business readiness, deployment planning, and hypercare support during implementation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Ensure project deliverables align with business objectives and transformation goals.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst on large-scale transformation programs.
• Strong expertise in Asset Lifecycle Management, preferably within the Utilities sector.
• Proven experience leading business analysis activities in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and validation skills.
• Experience conducting fit-gap analysis and business process mapping.
• Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience supporting testing, business readiness, deployment, and hypercare activities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive consensus across cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on Digital Transformation programs.
• Knowledge of EU Energy Regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Experience working with European Utility clients.
• Familiarity with ITIL principles and service management practices.
• Knowledge of enterprise asset management processes and best practices.

Preferred Certifications

• ITIL Foundation (or equivalent)
• PRINCE2
• SAFe Agile Certification
• Agile Certification (Scrum or equivalent)
