The Role: DAZN is rapidly expanding its emerging sports portfolio, scaling the number of rights. This creates a high-volume, always-on content engine across combat sports, motorsport, endurance and emerging verticals. Affiliates play a key role in this model, driving freemium user acquisition at scale and supporting conversion into paid subscriptions. As a Senior Business Development Executive, you’ll play a critical role in, building and scaling DAZN’s global affiliate programme with a primary focus on our freemium product offering, this is the customer experience and rights in front of the paywall and includes: live sports rights and our evolving product offering. This is a build and scale role focused on proactively acquiring new affiliate partners, rather than managing an existing partner base. We are looking for someone with a strong ‘hunter’ mindset, who can operate in a fast-moving environment, has strong commercial acumen and the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy. You’ll identify, recruit and activate niche publishers, communities and content partners across global markets, working closely with regional marketing teams, media planners, creative teams, and analysts to deliver campaigns that are effective. Based in London in the central marketing team you will be part of the media team reporting into the Head of Affiliates with a dotted line into the SVP of Owned Media and Special Projects. You will work across different territories, sports rights and internal teams at DAZN. Gaining hands-on exposure to how a global sports streaming platform operates. What You'll Be Doing: Developing and executing Affiliate marketing strategies to drive our freemium offering (rights and product) Build and scale a global pipeline of publishers, communities and content sites (excluding influencer partnerships) Proactively identify, outreach and onboard new affiliate partners across niche sports verticals Build strong external relationships: creators and partners Collaborating across the business to integrate affiliates across all channels Manage Budgets, timelines and deliverables to ensure seamless execution Identify emerging digital trends and cultural moments relevant to DAZN’s content Ensuring DAZN’s collaborations reflects DAZN’s tone, values and strategic objectives Deliver against clear output metrics including partner recruitment, activation and freemium user growth Test, learn and build repeatable playbooks to scale the affiliate channel across different sports and markets What You'll Bring: Experience in partner acquisition, business development or building affiliate relationships from scratch Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Excellent negotiation, relationship management and communication skills Ideally, a passion for sport, digital and innovative marketing approaches Comfort working in a target-driven environment with a proactive, self-starting mindset Experience working beyond traditional affiliate networks (e.g. sourcing publishers, communities or content partners) Benefits Benefits include access to DAZN, 25 days’ annual leave (increasing by 3 days after 3 years), private medical insurance, life assurance, pension contributions up to 5%, family friendly community including enhanced parental leave, electric vehicle benefit option, learning and development resources, opportunity for flexible working, and access to our internal speaker series and events.
