Senior Civil Structural Engineer (for US Company)

EU Design Consulting, LLC, as an US company, is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to work on a wide variety of project types and sizes, ranging from:

· Residential custom home projects with lumber framing;

· Structural steel projects;

· Complex infrastructure projects for sophisticated public agencies, including underground and bridge rehabilitation projects.

The position will also include close mentoring with senior engineers and lots of valuable on-the-job training. We will provide up to 12 months mentoring so that the ideal candidate is up to speed with the current US codes and standards.

This is a strict remote working position form Turkey. Assistance for relocation to the US will not be provided.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis on Structural Engineering;

· MS in Civil/Geotechnical or structural engineering;

· AutoCAD familiarity/proficiency;

· Finite element familiarity/proficiency with familiarity with commercial software packages;

· In depth understanding structural engineering;

· Excellent analytical and technical skills is required; and

· Excellent English written and oral communication skills.

Duties:

· Applies knowledge of engineering principles to prescribed techniques and procedures to complete project assignments;

· Performing civil, geotechnical, and structural engineering calculations and analyses using hand and computer-based tools;

· Assisting with the preparation of technical reports, including writing sections of reports, preparing tables, figures, and drawings and working with staff to produce final reports under senior direction;

· Performing other engineering activities as directed;

· Developing design and drawings using computer aided drafting platforms (e.g., AutoCAD)
