Company Description Accelerating Clinical Trials Ltd (ACT) is a not-for-profit organization focused on improving outcomes for people with blood cancer by accelerating access to clinical trials. Any surplus income is reinvested to directly benefit blood cancer patients, reflecting a strong commitment to patient-centered care and impact. ACT provides resources and specialist expertise to speed up delivery of both academic, investigator-initiated studies and industry-sponsored clinical trials in haemato-oncology. Through close collaboration with established networks such as TAP and IMPACT, ACT supports efficient trial setup, recruitment, and management across multiple sites.
Role Description The Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the conduct of haemato-oncology clinical trials from start-up through close-out. Day-to-day activities include monitoring trial sites, ensuring adherence to study protocols, verifying source data, and maintaining high standards of data quality and regulatory compliance. The role involves collaborating with investigators, site staff, sponsors, and internal clinical operations teams to resolve issues, manage timelines, and support patient safety. The Senior CRA will contribute to protocol review, training of site personnel, and continuous process improvement to ensure efficient trial delivery within ACT’s academic and industry portfolios.
Qualifications
  • Clinical trial expertise, including strong knowledge of Clinical Trials processes and experience working as or with Clinical Research Associates.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and applying study Protocol requirements in operational settings.
  • Experience in Clinical Operations, including site monitoring, trial management, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Solid background in Research methods and good clinical practice (GCP), particularly in haemato-oncology or oncology.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in life sciences, nursing, pharmacy, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple studies, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Experience with electronic data capture systems and common clinical trial management tools; familiarity with regulatory requirements and ethics submissions.
