Senior Cloud Engineer

You're a technical consultant who can own a workstream end to end and deliver it well. You bring strong hands-on AWS expertise, solid consulting experience, and the consistency delivery teams and clients rely on. You're comfortable working independently, contributing real engineering judgement to assessments and migrations, and handling client interactions with maturity. What you'll do Own technical deliverables and individual workstreams against agreed scope, quality, and timelines Deliver migration, modernisation, and platform engineering work hands-on Support assessments, discovery, and technical analysis that shape client transformation initiatives Prepare materials, provide subject matter insight, and document outcomes for client workshops Provide accurate estimates and proactively flag risks, dependencies, and blockers Work closely with Lead Consultants to align delivery plans, architecture direction, and client outcomes Support solution shaping, estimates, and proposals with technical input Develop reusable components, documentation, and accelerators, and share knowledge through community of practice sessions What you'll bring Strong hands-on AWS experience across infrastructure automation and engineering best practices Proven experience owning technical deliverables across migration, modernisation, or platform engineering engagements Solid understanding of AWS architecture principles, security best practices, and cloud-native design The ability to influence technical decisions and work effectively with clients and delivery teams IaC proficiency (CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform) and CI/CD experience Experience with container platforms such as Kubernetes or Amazon EKS: highly regarded A self-starter mindset, strong communication skills, and a commitment to continuous learning Experience applying AI-assisted and agentic engineering tools to improve delivery efficiency AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Specialty certification: highly regarded but not essential If you enjoy combining hands-on engineering, consulting, and continuous growth to help clients modernise and evolve their technology platforms, this is your next role.
