Job Description: Are you an experienced cloud and analytics professional passionate about enabling enterprise scale analytics and machine learning platforms? This role exists to ensure enterprise AI and analytics platforms are reliable, secure, and scalable, enabling teams across the organization to deliver AI powered outcomes faster and more safely. Note: This role requires Reliability Status Clearance . In addition to a law enforcement inquiry and a credit check, as part of your application, the Government of Canada will ask if you lived or travelled outside of Canada for 6-consecutive months during the last 5 years, and you must account for all activities during this time. What You’ll Do Act as SME for enterprise AI services and solutions owned and operated by the team. Support and integrate AI Solutions across the enterprise using a suite of AI-focused cloud services. Enable and maintain Amazon Bedrock Capabilities (Agents, Knowledge Bases, etc.). Develop and support Amazon Bedrock Agent core for existing and future use cases. Enable and support Amazon Q Business solutions for enterprise AI use cases. Develop and support Amazon Quick Suite with focus on agentic workflows. Support productionizing existing services and patterns enabled by the team. Support Pattern as a Product framework for reusable cloud solutions. Apply DevOps and automation-first practices to improve reliability of services and solutions. Lead Proof of Concepts, KTLO (Keep The Lights On) activities, and CI/CD improvements while providing training and support to optimize cloud infrastructure. On-going support for teams leveraging platform AI solutions across the organization. Collaboration & Influence Collaborate closely with Cloud, Security, Architecture, Data Science, and Analytics partners. Provide guidance and informal mentorship to team members, as appropriate. Influence platform standards by contributing to reference architectures, reusable patterns, and operational playbooks. What You Need to Succeed Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience assessing trade-offs, managing risk, and resolving complex issues. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment. Demonstrated alignment to BOLDER behaviours , including: Driving outcomes through ownership and accountability Embracing Digital Ways of Working (WOW) and continuous improvement Applying professional judgment with an enterprise mindset Preferred Skills Hands on experience with AWS development tools (IAM, s3, CloudFormation, Lambda, Service Catalog) Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation and/or Terraform) CI/CD (such as Jenkins) and Git based and Bitbucket‑workflows Powershell, Python or other shell scripting for automation Experience supporting AI/ML or analytics platforms Experience in regulated or security focused‑ environments We value analytical thinking and continuous learning. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors.
