Senior CMF Designer Apply to job! Your New Role We are looking for a Senior Designer Consultant specializing in Color, Materials, and Finishes (CMF) to join a global, design-driven organization. In this role, you will take ownership of CMF design throughout the entire product development journey, from early concept exploration to final industrialization. You will work across multiple product development projects, creating color palettes, material selections, and finish solutions that contribute to a consistent and distinctive product experience. You will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, marketing teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the design vision is successfully translated into high-quality, manufacturable solutions. The role also involves developing and maintaining CMF standards, including textures, finishes, and graphic specifications. As a senior member of the team, you will combine hands-on design work with strategic contributions. You will help shape CMF direction across different product categories, contribute to design systems, and support the continuous development of processes and ways of working. At least 5 years of professional experience in CMF design, preferably within a global or industry-leading organization. Strong knowledge of colors, materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in 2D and 3D design tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, KeyShot, and other relevant visualization software. The ability to communicate design intent clearly and influence stakeholders across different functions. Strong self-leadership, ownership, and a collaborative mindset. A high level of curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Willingness to travel and collaborate with manufacturing sites and suppliers.
