JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Senior Community Coordinator

Location: Hybrid (Remote and office in Dublin, Ireland)

The B Corp Movement

B Lab is the non-profit network transforming the global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet. B Lab creates standards, policies, and tools for business, and we certify companies — known as B Corps — who are leading the way. We mobilise the global B Corp community of over 11,000 businesses in 100+ countries towards collective action to address society’s most critical challenges, and we collaborate with governments, academia, coalitions, and other institutions to drive economic systems change. By using business as a force for good, our collective vision is to create an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economy.

About B Lab Ireland

The B Lab Ireland team is part of B Lab Europe. The Irish Community is the fastest-growing in Europe, with strong demand for B Corp certification and a highly engaged business community. We are a small, high-performing team, dedicated to mobilising Irish business as a force for good.

Find more information about our work and team here.

Overview of the role

The Senior Community Coordinator is a central role in the Irish team, responsible for the health and day-to-day experience of the B Corp community. This is a relationship-first role ideal for someone who excels in building connections, turning complexity into clarity, and creating impactful learning experiences.

The role spans community relationship management, communications, events, onboarding, recertification support, data analysis, and collective action. It is a hands-on, high-ownership role that offers the opportunity to shape how the Irish B Corp community connects, learns, and leads.

The successful candidate will help Irish B Corps understand what comes next after certification, stay connected to the movement, prepare for recertification, participate in community initiatives, and make the most of their certification. They will also help bring the Irish B Corp community offerings to life through newsletters, events, webinars, working groups, campaigns, and peer-learning opportunities.

We are looking for someone warm, organised, proactive, and confident working with a diverse business community. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing movement and help shape how B Corps in Ireland connect, learn, collaborate, and lead.

Core Responsibilities

  • Community Management
  • Develop and implement a community engagement strategy for the Irish B Corp community aligned with B Lab’s mission.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Certified B Corps in Ireland, acting as a trusted point of contact for community, certification, and engagement queries.
  • Manage the community CRM, including B Keeper contacts, onboarding status, engagement tracking, and risk indicators.
  • Oversee end-to-end onboarding for new B Corps: deliver guidance, tools, and track onboarding progress; continuously improve the process.
  • Respond to community queries in a timely, helpful, and professional way, signposting relevant resources, contacts, events, and tools.
  • Maintain a clear picture of the needs, risks, and opportunities across the Irish B Corp community.
  • Identify highly engaged B Corps, potential speakers, hosts, case studies, sponsors, collaborators, and community champions.
  • Support B Corps as they prepare for recertification and transition to the new B Lab Standards.
  • Collaborate with European Community Leads and represent B Lab Ireland at monthly circle meetings.

  • Communications & Campaigns
  • Manage the monthly B Keeper newsletter, sharing timely certification updates, standards insights and upcoming community engagement opportunities.
  • Coordinate community campaigns (e.g., B Corp Month): set objectives, run campaigns, and measure outcomes.
  • Design and run community feedback mechanisms: co-develop surveys, analyse results and implement improvements.
  • Track and report on community engagement KPIs and program outcomes.

  • Events & Collective Action
  • Host and facilitate online monthly community calls, B Inspired Lunch & Learn webinars and townhalls.
  • Plan, organise, and deliver in-person events across Ireland from small collective action-focused events to annual community gatherings.
  • Coordinate working groups and collective action initiatives where relevant, including helping with communications, meeting follow-up, and community engagement.
  • Support the Business Development lead in identifying and securing B Corp speaking engagements at relevant conferences and summits.

Preferred Qualifications Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated excellence in client relationship management
  • Experience in startups or fast-growing companies within office, hybrid and remote setups
  • Strong organisational skills, able to effectively manage multiple workstreams at once, support team members and efficiently prioritise tasks
  • Strong communication skills and ability to turn complex information into clear, warm and pragmatic communications
  • Confident using CRM tools and reports to track engagement, identify trends and report on outcomes

Working Conditions

This is a full-time, hybrid position. The organisation operates on a four-day workweek (32 hours), Monday through Thursday, during standard Irish business hours, with full pay. While the role is primarily remote, weekly in-person attendance for team meetings and events in Ireland is required. The position is permanent, subject to a standard probationary period.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary for this full-time position is €45500 gross per year.

Benefits:

  • Annual Leave: 20 days flexible (pro-rata) + 8 Flexible (pro-rata) days to use during the year.
  • Annual professional development budget to contribute to career development and learning
  • Monthly contributions towards health insurance, health and wellbeing, mobile and working from home
  • Volunteering hours to help contribute to other organisations

Recruitment Policy
