The Senior Compensation Analyst leads complex compensation analyses and plays a key role in the design, implementation, and governance of compensation programs. This role serves as a trusted subject matter expert and advisor, partnering with HR Business Partners and business leaders to ensure compensation practices are competitive, equitable, compliant, and aligned with organizational strategy . Schedule: Full-time 80 hours every 2 weeks Monday-Friday 8a-5p Majority remote; occasional need for onsite training or meeting Pay and Benefits: Starting pay begins at $88,940.80 per year and increases with experience. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources , Business, Finance, or related field. Min of 5 years of progressive compensation experience. Deep expertise in compensation design, analytics, and compliance Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; HRIS expertise Strong consulting, influencing, and presentation skills Ability to communicate professionally and clearly with all levels of leaders Proficient with HRIS systems and compensation market pricing tools Experience with managing survey vendors Core Functions: Lead market pricing, job architecture, and leveling initiatives. Design and update pay grade structures annually. Perform advanced pay equity and regulatory analyses; recommend corrective actions. Advise HR Business Partners and leaders on complex compensation issues. Lead major compensation cycles and cross-functional projects including annual merit and market adjustment projects/programs. Develop tools, models, and frameworks to support compensation decisions. Mentor compensation analysts and review their work for quality and accuracy. Serve as a subject matter expert for the market pricing tool, including data integrity, methodology, reporting, training, and user guidance. Prepare presentations and compensation insights and recommendations to HR Business Partners and leaders using clear data visualizations and concise messaging. Lead participation in external compensation surveys, including complex job matching, data quality review, submission oversight, and interpretation of survey results to inform pay decisions. Develop and deliver compensation-related training and materials for HR Business Partners, managers and employees. Act as a subject matter expert for the job description repository, ensuring roles are accurately documented, aligned to job architecture, and maintained according to governance standards. Serve as a subject matter expert on compensation compliance, proactively staying abreast of changing federal, state, and local regulations and assessing impacts to compensation programs, policies, and practices. Ensure adherence to applicable requirements, including but not limited to FLSA, pay transparency, pay equity, wage and hour, and related employment laws.
