Job Description Visa is seeking a strategic and business-focused Senior Compensation Manager to support our global Technology organization. This role serves as a trusted compensation advisor to senior leaders, People Business Partners, and Talent Acquisition teams, delivering compensation solutions that attract, retain, and motivate world-class technology talent. The successful candidate will partner closely with key stake holders to develop and implement compensation strategies aligned with Visa's Total Compensation Philosophy and business objectives. This role requires strong analytical capability, executive presence, and the ability to influence decisions in a dynamic, high-growth environment. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the lead compensation consultant for assigned client groups, providing strategic guidance on compensation programs, policies, and practices. Partner proactively with client facing People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition along with Business Leadership to identify and address compensation challenges. Support executive and senior leader decision-making through data-driven compensation analyses and recommendations. Act as a consultant with client groups on compensation issues such as job evaluation, FLSA exemption reviews, compensation analyses and total compensation reviews. Partner with People Business Partners and senior leaders to execute the annual compensation review process for assigned client groups, delivering a well-governed, efficient, and data-driven compensation planning experience. Participate in the development and drive the execution of compensation processes and initiatives such as annual review, incentive and equity plans, ad hoc analyses, projects and reporting for assigned client groups. Conduct market pricing and competitive compensation analyses to evaluate the competitiveness of Visa’s pay programs and provide recommendations for salary structure enhancements and annual updates. Provide and deliver compensation training and education materials to HR and people leaders. Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications: 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD. 7+ years of progressive business/HR experience, with a significant portion dedicated to compensation-related roles and responsibilities. Strong knowledge of compensation principles, job architecture, market pricing methodologies, and incentive design. Experience supporting engineering and other technology talent populations. Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop quantitative models (e.g. complex forecasting) and translate complex data into actionable business recommendations. Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to present information in a concise and meaningful manner to people leaders and senior leaders. Demonstrated teamwork, relationship-building skills and ability to influence and partner effectively with senior leaders and HR executives. Experience working on compensation issues in a complex matrixed global organization is strongly preferred. Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint); Workday and market pricing tools (e.g. CompAnalyst). Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Information for US Applicants For roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $153,700.00 to $ 246,200.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program. Work Hours Varies upon the needs of the department. Travel Requirements This position requires travel 5-10% of the time. Mental/Physical Requirements This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
