Our client is a large international fund manager in Zurich. We are searching for a tax compliance specialist (m, f, d) as Senior Compliance Advisor / International Tax / PE Funds Responsible for the entire tax compliance process for all EU and U.S. fund structures, including limited partnerships, LLPs, and U.S. LLCs, as well as for overseeing the comprehensive coordination of international tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions / Coordinating with external tax advisors in Europe and the U.S. and preparing documentation packages and critically reviewing the quality / Managing tax returns for European partnerships, corporate income tax, and tax reporting forms for investors; coordinating U.S. tax returns (Form 1065, K-1, K-3) / Coordinating reporting requirements and preparing and reviewing tax assessments for EU and U.S. LPs / Monitoring and advising on the EU tax framework and its implications for fund structures and carry recipients / Monitoring and tracking deadlines for compliance with EU tax regulations, serving as the point of contact for European tax matters, referring technical questions to external advisors, and alerting management to risks / Preparing, maintaining, and overseeing the global tax compliance calendar for all funds, vehicles, and jurisdictions / Assisting with the coordination of AEOI/FATCA compliance across all fund structures / Support as a tax expert in the areas of finance and investments. Master’s degree in Taxation, Law, or Economics / Further education in taxation is preferred / Professional experience at one of the “Big Four” accounting firms or at an international tax consulting firm with corporate tax and a clear focus on EU and U.S. tax law for private-market funds / In-depth knowledge of international tax law and tax compliance (AEOI/FATCA) / Experience working with international investors and preparing tax-related communication channels for investors / Ability to explain complex tax issues in appropriate business language / Analytical, team-oriented personality with a pragmatic, structured approach to work / Entrepreneurial mindset with strong project management and prioritization skills / Fluent in English; German is a plus.
