Senior Consultant/ Director, Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO) and Preference Elicitation

Director, Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO) and Preference Elicitation Position Overview: We are seeking motivated and experienced professionals to join our HEOR team as a Director, focusing on Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO) and Preference Elicitation Studies. You will contribute to groundbreaking projects that influence healthcare decision-making, advancing the understanding of patient perspectives and preferences to enhance value-driven healthcare delivery. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide strategic leadership in the design and delivery of PRO and preference elicitation research. Drive innovation in preference elicitation methodologies and PRO development. Shape evidence generation strategies to support HTA submissions and payer negotiations. Mentor and develop a team of professionals, fostering expertise in PRO and preference elicitation studies. Build and manage client relationships, contributing to business development through proposal preparation and thought leadership activities. Collaborate with other HEOR functions, including health economic modelling and real-world evidence, to deliver integrated solutions. Desired Skills and Experience Advanced degree (PhD or MSc) in Health Economics, Epidemiology, Medical Sciences, Psychology, or a related field. Minimum of 7-8 years of experience , with a strong track record in PRO and preference elicitation studies. Demonstrable expertise in designing and conducting qualitative and/or quantitative research for PRO and preference elicitation studies. Knowledge of methodologies for utility measurement, survey development, and psychometric validation. Strong skills in statistical analysis, econometrics, and data interpretation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience publishing in peer-reviewed journals. Proven ability to manage projects, teams, and client relationships effectively. Desirable Expertise: Experience with advanced statistical methods, survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics), and coding languages (e.g., HTML, JavaScript). Familiarity with HTA environments and global payer requirements. Knowledge of innovative methodologies in preference elicitation, such as discrete choice experiments and best-worst scaling. Experience in business development and client engagement, including proposal and pitch preparation. What we offer you!
