Job Description
The Role
Help organisations move from pay transparency compliance to better, fairer and more strategic workforce decisions.
Korn Ferry is growing its Rewards and Benefits Advisory business in Germany. We are looking for a Senior Consultant who can combine analytical thinking, consulting skills and confident client communication.
EU Pay Transparency will be an important part of your work, but it will not define the limits of the role. You will also have opportunities to work on reward strategy, pay equity, job architecture, career frameworks and wider workforce transformation.
You do not need to be a specialist in every area from day one. If you bring strong analytical and consulting fundamentals, we can help you build your technical expertise.
What You Will Do
- Support clients with EU Pay Transparency and pay equity projects.
- Analyse reward, workforce, job and market data.
- Turn complex findings into clear and practical recommendations.
- Help clients develop job architectures, career frameworks and transparent reward structures.
- Facilitate workshops with HR and business leaders.
- Manage defined project workstreams and maintain strong client relationships.
- Contribute to proposals, client conversations and the development of new solutions.
- Work with Korn Ferry colleagues across Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland and other international markets.
- Collaborate across Rewards, Organisation Strategy, Leadership Development, Digital and Executive Search.
- Use technology, data and AI to improve analysis and client delivery.
What You Will Bring
- Approximately four or more years of relevant experience.
- Experience in consulting, Rewards, HR advisory, people analytics, workforce transformation or another analytical client-facing role.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
- The ability to communicate complex information clearly.
- Confidence presenting recommendations to clients and senior stakeholders.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Fluency in English.
- An entrepreneurial, pragmatic and collaborative approach.
Experience That Could Be Relevant
Your background could include one or more of the following:
- Total Rewards or compensation and benefits.
- EU Pay Transparency or pay equity.
- Job evaluation, grading or job architecture.
- Career frameworks or workforce architecture.
- Reward strategy or salary structure design.
- Organisation design or workforce transformation.
- Performance or talent management.
- M&A or HR transformation.
- People analytics or HR technology.
- Broader management or human capital consulting.
German language skills are strongly preferred because many clients and stakeholders operate in German. However, we are also open to exceptional candidates who bring the right analytical and consulting capabilities.
Why Join Korn Ferry?
Build, not just deliver
The German Rewards business is entering an important growth stage. You will have the opportunity to contribute ideas, shape solutions and help define how we serve the market.
Work beyond compliance
Pay transparency may start the client conversation, but the work can develop into broader questions around job architecture, reward strategy, career structures and workforce transformation.
Collaborate internationally
You will work with experienced colleagues across Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland and other markets, giving you exposure to different clients, capabilities and approaches.
Connect human capital expertise
Korn Ferry focuses on people and organisational performance. You will be able to work across consulting, technology, leadership and executive advisory capabilities to help clients address complex workforce challenges.
Develop your expertise
We are interested in strong consulting fundamentals, not candidates who already know every methodology. You will have access to experienced colleagues, established IP, technology and specialist development opportunities.
Location
You can be based anywhere in Germany. You do not need to live near a specific Korn Ferry office. The role offers remote working combined with client travel and in-person team collaboration when needed.
If you are analytical, curious and motivated by the opportunity to help build a growing advisory business, we would like to hear from you.
Korn Ferry may use AI as part of its recruitment process, but all hiring decisions are made by humans.
Internal Mobility at Korn Ferry
If you currently work for Korn Ferry or one of our affiliates, you must be eligible to apply for a different position within Korn Ferry to use the Careers Site. If you accept such a position, your benefits programs and Human Resources policies may change. Please consult with your HR contact for the new position concerning application eligibility, including any immigration/visa needs, benefit programs, and HR policies applicable to that position.
