You’ll play a key role in making sure our ships sail full, efficient, and on schedule balancing customer demands, operational constraints, and commercial priorities. Responsibilities: Managing vessel space – ensuring ships are well-utilised across different trade routes Planning cargo allocation – tactical decision making based on booking development. Monitoring bookings – tracking how quickly space is filling up and adjusting plans when needed Making real-time decisions – prioritising cargo when space is limited or disruptions occur Working with global teams – coordinating with planners, commercial teams, and customer service across regions Handling operational challenges – e.g. delays, transshipment connections, or special cargo requirements Improving performance – supporting KPIs such as vessel utilisation, booking response time, and on-time loading What will help you succeed : Strong analytical thinking and keen to work with numbers and patterns. Good communication skills as you’ll be working with different teams globally. Ability to prioritise and make decisions under pressure . A proactive mindset to spot issues before they escalate. Willingness to learn and take ownership . Highly advantageous if you: are familiar with Excel or data tools have had internships or exposure to shipping/logistics/trade management We welcome candidates with a background or interest in maritime, logistics, supply chain or trade management You don’t need full-time experience, but it helps if you: Have studied maritime, logistics, transportation, or a related field Are comfortable working with data and making decisions Enjoy solving problems in a fast-paced, real-world environment
