Senior Creative Specialist

Utilizes current technology to provide direction, advice and support for creation of graphic design projects to the Corporate Communications Department and other business partners throughout the company. Responsible for the conceptualization and design of graphic applications such as collateral material, environmental graphics, books and magazines, corporate identity or brand and online site design, from concept to completion. Create and oversee development of compelling graphic and interactive design that supports sales and marketing strategies executed both digitally and offline Develop process for distributing incoming work to design and editorial teams, in collaboration with Art Director Translates insights into effective creative campaigns across multiple media platforms Partners with LOB marketing teams to develop brand strategies, guidelines and creative executions Partners with UX and Digital Marketing to ensure consistent brand look/feel Contributes to the direction of projects as needed Keeps up with the competition and aware of industry trends Job Specifications Typically has the following skills or abilities: Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field or equivalent experience 4+ years of equivalent computer graphic design work experience including typesetting, layout color theory, and creation of original artwork Proficient with the Mac computer utilizing PageMaker, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and FreeHand, and knowledge of Powerpoint, Microsoft Word and Excel Demonstrated proofreading and editing skills Ability to effectively communicate information to a wide variety of technical and non-technical individuals or groups Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment the in performance of his/her job duties For roles that are remote (i.e., Work From Home (WFM)) or hybrid (i.e., partial onsite at a VSP location and WFM), must demonstrate a high level of engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings to support effective communication and team alignment #LI-VISIONCARE Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
