Senior D365 BC Developer

To support the continued growth of our Business Central practice, we are looking for an experienced Senior Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer to join our team in Romania. In this role, you will work on international projects and help customers modernize and extend their Business Central environments.

• Design, develop, and maintain solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and AL.
• Develop extensions, integrations, custom functionalities, and reusable components for customer projects and the Dynamics Empire platform.
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural and implementation decisions.
• Analyze requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Support upgrade and modernization initiatives, including migrations from legacy NAV/Navision environments to modern Business Central SaaS solutions.
• Integrate Business Central with external applications, APIs, Microsoft Azure services, and the wider Microsoft ecosystem.
• Perform code reviews and actively promote development standards, quality practices, and technical best practices.
• Collaborate closely with Functional Consultants, Technical Leads, Architects, Project Managers, and international development teams.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and help shape the future roadmap of our Business Central solutions.
  
  

What you need to succeed:

• Strong experience developing solutions in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Solid knowledge of AL development and Business Central extension architecture.
• Experience with integrations, APIs, and web services.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, source control, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to analyze complex requirements and propose effective technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with international stakeholders.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Nice to have
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services, Azure Functions, PowerShell, Docker, or .NET.
• Experience with Business Central SaaS implementations and cloud-native development approaches.
• Previous involvement in upgrade and migration projects.
