We are looking for a curious, collaborative, and solutions-focused Senior Data Analyst to join our team. This role will play a critical part in transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that guide performance and strategic decision-making across our growing, multi-site organization. The Senior Data Analyst will partner closely with operational, clinical, accounting, and financial leaders to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and develop data-driven solutions that improve patient care, practice performance, and overall business efficiency. This is a hybrid position based at our Nashville Home Office, offering three days of in-office collaboration and two days remote each week. What You'll do Pull and analyze data primarily from the enterprise data warehouse, using source systems—including EHR, practice management, finance, and HRIS platforms—as the underlying systems of record. Clean, validate, and interpret complex datasets to generate meaningful and reliable business insights. Design, build, and maintain advanced data models that support enterprise initiatives such as patient retention, provider productivity, operational efficiency, and accounting and finance functions. Translate data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for clinical and business leaders. Partner with IT and Business Intelligence teams to strengthen data infrastructure, improve reporting processes, and expand access to reliable information. Use statistical and predictive modeling techniques to forecast trends and identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate across departments to define key performance indicators, reporting standards, and measurement frameworks. Present analyses and insights through reports, presentations, and interactive dashboards, primarily using Power BI. Support data integrity, governance, and compliance with healthcare privacy requirements, including HIPAA. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred. Candidates with an Accounting or Finance background and strong technical, analytical, and data-reporting capabilities are encouraged to apply. A traditional computer science or highly technical degree is not required. Five or more years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a multi-site healthcare, dental, medical, or similarly complex business environment. Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Excel, and data modeling. Experience working with enterprise data warehouses and interpreting data from multiple underlying business systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-storytelling skills, with the ability to turn complex findings into practical business recommendations. Experience working with EHR, dental practice management, financial, accounting, or HRIS data is preferred. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate, trustworthy data. The ability to communicate effectively and build strong working relationships with technical and nontechnical partners across the organization.
