Senior Data Engineer Apply We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer: Language Proficiency: Upper-Intermediate Employment type: Full time Candidate Location: Poland Working Time Zone: CET Start: ASAP Planned Work Duration: 12+ months 👥 Customer Description: Our client is a leading global management consulting company delivering technology solutions for enterprise customers across multiple industries. 🧩 Project Description: The project focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native data engineering solutions supporting compliance and risk management initiatives. ⚙️ Project Phase: ongoing 🤝 Soft Skills: • Highly proactive with the ability to identify stakeholders and drive tasks independently. • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams. • Curious mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation. • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams. • Strong organizational and time management skills. 💡 Hard Skills / Must Have: • 5+ years of experience building and supporting ETL solutions using cloud-native services. • Experience developing data integration pipelines. • Hands-on experience with Python and PySpark. • Advanced PL/SQL and complex query optimization. • Experience with CloudFormation and Terraform. • Experience implementing monitoring and alerting for ETL processes. • Experience working with cloud storage and data validation solutions. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines. • Experience working in Agile environments. • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools. • Experience with BI systems (PowerBI, Tableau). • Understanding of AWS services like S3, SNS, Secret Manager, Athena, and Lambda. • Experience with version control and project management tools. 📌 Responsibilities: • Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient cloud-based data pipelines. • Develop and support ETL/ELT processes for data integration and transformation. • Ensure compliance with information security and data governance standards. • Maintain and enhance cloud data environments, including data lakes and data warehouses. • Collaborate closely with engineering teams, product teams, and stakeholders. • Contribute to technical research, continuous improvement, and adoption of new technologies. • Maintain code quality using version control systems and CI/CD practices. • Support the strategic evolution of data engineering solutions and infrastructure. 🧪 Technology Stack: Python, PySpark, AWS Glue, PL/SQL, CloudFormation, Terraform, CI/CD, Power BI, Tableau, Athena, Lambda, Jira, GitHub, Snowflake 📞 Interview stages: • English check (15 minutes) • internal technical interview (1-1,5 hour) • client interview (1 hour) 📝 Additional notes: The candidate must be employed in our company at 0.125 FTE under UoP (employment contract) and additionally under a service contract (B2B or mandate contract).
