The role of the Senior Data Engineer is critical for driving long-term growth and supporting the company’s shift towards climate neutrality by developing and maintaining industry-leading data platforms and products. The engineer will be responsible for enhancing the data infrastructure, thereby providing valuable insights that guide future improvements.
Responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining data pipelines to deliver value.
Reviewing team members' code and providing constructive feedback.
Communicating technical trade-offs to team members and architects.
Writing effective documentation for processes and systems.
Managing and reducing technical debt in the data systems.
Must Haves:
Strong experience in building scalable data platforms on Azure, preferably with Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
Hands-on experience with production PySpark data pipelines.
Experience with CI/CD and modern engineering practices.
Ability to communicate proactively within a cross-functional team.
Nice to Haves:
Interest in data science and machine learning.
Familiarity with AI tools used in daily development.

Location: 100% remote with at least six hours overlap with CET.
Team: Cross-functional, with a mix of data engineers, scientists, software developers, and product owners.
