Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake + AWS)

Location: Remote from EU

Language Requirement: English C1 (strong verbal communication)

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with hands‑on expertise in Snowflake, AWS, and Python. The role involves designing and supporting reliable data systems for analytics and data‑driven products, collaborating closely with engineers, analysts, and data science teams to ensure secure, scalable, and high‑quality pipelines and models.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data models and database structures in Snowflake.
• Develop and maintain Python data pipelines with reliability, observability, and maintainability.
• Build and operate AWS solutions (S3, Glue, Lambda) for ingestion, transformation, and orchestration.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for controlled deployments.
• Translate business requirements into clear, usable data models for analytics, product, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure data quality, availability, and performance through monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Maintain data security standards (AWS IAM, Snowflake best practices).
• Collaborate with engineering teams to establish best practices in data engineering and documentation.
• Support incident resolution and performance tuning (Snowflake optimization, pipeline bottlenecks, cost awareness).
