Senior Data Migration Engineer

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate!

Experience: 6-8 years.

Hybrid: 2 days Work from Home 3 days Work from Office

Your Profile & DNA:

We are looking for a Senior Data Migration Engineer to join a leading enterprise project in Amsterdam. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals with strong expertise in data migration, ETL, SQL, and Azure technologies to work on large-scale Azure-based application and COTS migration initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and execute end-to-end data migration strategies
• Develop and optimize ETL processes for enterprise applications
• Perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation
• Identify and resolve data quality issues
• Develop and optimize SQL scripts and database solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful migration delivery
• Utilize Azure DevOps for project tracking and release management

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Strong experience with ETL processes and data migration concepts
• Expertise in migrating Azure-based applications and COTS platforms
• Hands-on SQL scripting experience
• Strong understanding of data quality, validation, and reconciliation
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
