Senior Data QA Engineer at BairesDev

In this role, you'll validate data quality across ingestion and search pipelines, ensuring that data flowing from unstructured sources into structured systems remains accurate and reliable. Testing APIs and stored procedures that directly impact search behavior, you'll bring rigorous QA discipline to systems where data quality directly shapes what users find. This is your opportunity to apply deep SQL and testing expertise to a genuinely complex data quality challenge, spanning ingestion, transformation, and search.

What You'll Do

• Validate SQL data quality across ingestion, transformation, and search pipelines.
• Test ETL processes, verifying data integrity from unstructured to structured formats.
• Test APIs using REST and tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Validate data ingestion from multi-source inputs, including email and calendar scraping.
• Test stored procedures and queries that impact search behavior.
• Conduct exploratory and functional QA across end-to-end workflows.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in QA engineering.
• Strong experience with SQL data quality and validation.
• Experience with ETL and data validation testing, including unstructured to structured data flows.
• Experience with API testing using REST and tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Background validating data ingestion from multi-source inputs, including email or calendar scraping.
• Experience testing stored procedures and queries that impact search behavior.
• Experience with exploratory and functional QA across end-to-end workflows.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
  
  

Nice To Have

• Experience with Azure Cloud.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools.
• Basic understanding of search systems, including filtering and ranking inputs.
• Experience with Postman/Swagger automation.
• Exposure to AI/LLM outputs, focused on validation rather than creation.
