As a Senior Data Scientist at ICON Plc, you will leverage advanced analytical techniques and machine learning models to derive actionable insights from complex data sets. Remote Role Required Skills: Strong Python programming skills Statistical Programming and Mathematical Analysis Experience working with Clinical Data OR Databricks What You Will Do: Your experience in process improvement and operational excellence will be key in delivering high-quality outcomes and mentoring colleagues. Key responsibilities include: Designing and implementing advanced data models and algorithms to solve complex business problems and drive strategic insights. Conducting in-depth analyses of large and diverse data sets to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations that inform decision-making. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, translate them into analytical solutions, and communicate findings effectively. Developing and deploying machine learning models and statistical techniques to enhance predictive capabilities and optimize business processes. Providing thought leadership on data science best practices and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement. Your Profile: You will have a strong foundation in process improvement and operational excellence, with the experience to work independently and guide others. Required qualifications and experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline Extensive experience in data science, with a strong track record of developing and implementing complex models and analyses. Proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning techniques, and data visualization tools, with expertise in programming languages such as Python or R. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.
