Senior Database Administrator @ PEOPLE10 Experience: 5 - 7 years Job Location: Remote (India) Graduation :Any (BE/Btech/MCA-Preferred) Job Overview: As part of a global enterprise tech team, you will manage enterprise scale databases through leading industry standards, automation and transformational roadmap for optimal resource utilization and scalability You will work in a full stack agile team of Architects, Technical Leads, Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, Developers, QA automators, and DevOps experts. You will report to the team manager. As a DBA, you will have an accelerated growth path into architecture and managerial career streams Roles & Responsibilities Design, install, and maintain enterprise databases in development, staging and production environment Implement database security and maintain periodic upgrades Execute database activities such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc. Diagnose and troubleshoot database issues Ensure timely performance tuning and preventative maintenance As a contributing member of a globally distributed agile team, collaborate with other team members following scrum practices Communicate and coordinate effectively to all stakeholders What We’re Looking For Expertise and experience in advance administration of MySQL and any other relational database administration Experience in managing DB instances on AWS Expertise in database design, SQL programming, performance tuning, monitoring and SQL query optimization Experience in a distributed environment and clustering Ability to communicate and articulate clearly and work collaboratively in an agile team Nice to Have Working knowledge on GIT Experience in Linux System Administration Experience in Agile methodologies and agile engineering practices Experience in cloud migration Knowledge on MariaDB is a pl us Why Join People10?
