Senior Database Administrator at BairesDev

As a Senior Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the health and performance of our production database environments. You will ensure data integrity and availability while driving architectural improvements for our core storage systems.

What You'll Do:

- Manage and optimize production database instances to ensure peak performance and stability.

- Design and execute robust backup and recovery procedures to protect critical data.

- Implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions to minimize downtime.

- Collaborate with developers to review schema designs and optimize complex queries.

- Monitor system health proactively and troubleshoot issues across various database technologies.

- Automate routine maintenance tasks and database deployments to improve operational efficiency.

What we are looking for:

- 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role.

- Proven expertise in operating and tuning production databases like SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, or MySQL.

- Proficiency in T-SQL or PL/SQL for database development and optimization.

- Hands-on experience implementing backups, replication, and HA/DR strategies.

- Deep understanding of performance tuning and database maintenance in high-availability environments.

- Advanced proficiency in English.
