Senior Database Developer

Senior Database Developer Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor) is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA seeking a Senior Database Developer with Appian experience . This is a full-time and hybrid position. Roles & Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal business resources and technical teams/SMEs to understand data sources Design, build, maintain, and optimize databases Develop database objects including stored procedures, tables, views and table-valued functions. Write complex queries involving common table expressions, window functions and subqueries for reporting. Translating business functions into conceptual, logical and physical data models. Optimize database tables including the application of triggers, indices and constraints. Enforce the successful application of any security standards necessary for the database, potentially including encryption at rest. Performance tuning and query optimization Data migration from legacy data base and perform transformations to the data to fit in the new data base Conduct Design reviews with the business analysts and content developers to create a proof of concept for the reports Support development teams in developing SQL queries
