Job Summary As senior designer, you’ll lead projects that demand craft, strategy, and creativity at the highest level. Y ou’ll be involved in every step of the design process—developing compelling ideas and concepts, refining details, and ensuring each project meets the highest standards. You’ll help shape the work we do for clients across print, branded concepts, and digital applications. Sample work could include logo design, book or editorial layouts, and media activations like digital ads and billboards. You’ll also collaborate closely with writers, strategists, and other designers to build creative that moves the needle for our clients. You always raise the bar, never satisfied with “good enough.” You pay attention to typography, layout, and detail, and you take pride in delivering work that’s clear, consistent, and compelling. You stay current on trends in design, culture, and tech, and bring that awareness into the work. You’re curious, collaborative, and committed to creating great design that makes an impact. Key Responsibilities Translate an idea across multiple channels within a full campaign expression. Collaborate with other creatives, strategists, and account teams to develop design concepts that meet client objectives and resonate with target audiences. Present your design work, explaining your creative approach and rationale, both internally and to clients. Incorporate creative feedback with care, ensuring that revisions align with project objectives while maintaining a high standard of craft. Contribute to brainstorming sessions and strategic discussions, offering insights into design direction and visual storytelling Take ownership of your work, consistently meeting deadlines while managing multiple projects and adapting to shifting priorities. Stay up-to-date with design trends and best practices, integrating new techniques and technologies into your work. Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities 5+ years of graphic design experience in an agency or consulting environment. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong focus on InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Proficient in Figma for digital design, display advertising, and UX/website collaboration. Proficiency in Wordpress (design and development). Excellent communication and presentation skills- you can articulate ideas clearly, give and receive feedback constructively, be a storyteller, and thrive in client-facing discussions. Comfortable owning and leading projects independently. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines. Bachelor’s degree in Art, Graphic Design, or related field preferred. Ologie is a remote-friendly organization, with employees working from home, from our Columbus, Ohio office, or a combination of both. For this role, candidates must be located in the Eastern or Central time zones, or in the greater Columbus, Ohio area. The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000. Your final salary will be determined based on your training, relevant experience, and location. This position requires up to 5% travel, primarily for internal events and occasional business needs. Paid time off includes your own flexible personal time, along with paid holidays throughout the year, including a holiday break (typically up to six days) at the end of December.
