WB Games Avalanch e – Senior Designer, World Avalanche Software, a division of Warner Brothers Games Inc., seeks a mid-to-s enior level world designer. Join the team who created Hogwarts Legacy, a new open world, action RPG set in the Wizarding World. You will work alongside other world designers to build playable spaces that embody the vision and values articulated by the game’s directors. The Daily Build highly playable spaces that support the game’s activities, are easy to navigate, and immerse the player Collaborate with other designers and artists under the direction of the Lead World Designer Bring the world to life through environmental storytelling Participate in regular playtests of your work and the work of others, providing and receiving constructive feedback The Essentials 5+ ye ars of professional experience in a design role Portfolio of professional level-design work that demonstrates a talent for environmental storytelling Strong understanding of artistic and design philosophies (composition, block-outs, flow, etc.) Fluency with Unreal Engine 5 world-building tools, including PGC and World Partition Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Passion for games, a positive attitude, and a sincere desire to learn The Nice to Haves Expertise in visual design tools such as Photoshop Deep knowledge of the online RPG genre How We Get Things Done… This last bit is probably the most important! Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $89,600.00 - $166,400.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
