Senior DevOps Consultant with GCP

Our Senior GCP specialists are responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting backend services that ensure reliability, security, and scalability across all platform layers. They bring expertise in virtualization, cloud platforms, storage solutions, cybersecurity, and automation through scripting and automation. As a Senior DevOps Consultant with GCP at Endava you will have the following responsibilities: Work with customers and lead the application migrations to GCP Create infrastructure architectures and technical documentation Lead cross-functional technical teams, e.g. cloud engineers and database engineers across geographies Act as the primary technical point of contact for customer’s stakeholder Embed security, compliance, and governance into design and delivery Design target state architectures covering application, data, integration, and infrastructure layers Drive automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and testing Manage technical dependencies and mitigate risks during application migration Identify technical risks and issues early, propose mitigation strategies, and track to resolution Define migration strategy (lift-and-shift & modernization) and target state architectures Govern delivery quality, risk management, and automation best practices Proven cloud migration delivery for large-scale enterprise workloads in regulated industries Experience with architecture services Deep understanding of GCP core services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Databases, Security) Strong IaC expertise, e.g Terraform Experience with Kubernetes and database migrations Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Cloud Build) for infrastructure automation Knowledge of data integration, ETL tools such as Informatica, and pipeline modernization for cloud Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Preferred Certifications: Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect Discover some of the global benefits that empower our people to become the best version of themselves: Finance: Competitive salary package, share plan, company performance bonuses, value-based recognition awards, referral bonus; Career Development : Career coaching, global career opportunities, non-linear career paths, internal development programmes for management and technical leadership; Learning Opportunities: Complex projects, rotations, internal tech communities, training, certifications, coaching, online learning platforms subscriptions, pass-it-on sessions, workshops, conferences; Work-Life Balance: Hybrid work and flexible working hours, employee assistance programme; Health: Global internal wellbeing programme, access to wellbeing apps; Community: Global internal tech communities, hobby clubs and interest groups, inclusion and diversity programmes, events and celebrations.
