Senior DevOps Engineer

LMW , on behalf of its client, a leading international technology and digital transformation consulting company, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a strategic project within the banking sector. You'll play a key role in designing, automating, and optimizing deployment processes while working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable software delivery. Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using Ansible . Develop and maintain Jenkins pipelines using Groovy . Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications on OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms. Configure and support Istio service mesh for secure, scalable, and resilient microservices communication. Manage database schema versioning and deployment using Liquibase . Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams to improve deployment processes and operational efficiency. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement continuous improvements. Promote DevOps best practices, automation, and infrastructure reliability across the project. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or a similar role. Strong hands-on experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management. Proven experience building and maintaining Jenkins pipelines using Groovy . Solid expertise with OpenShift and/or Kubernetes container orchestration platforms. Experience implementing or supporting Istio service mesh. Hands-on experience with Liquibase for database change management. Strong understanding of CI/CD principles, infrastructure automation, and release management. Experience working in Linux-based environments. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
