Senior DevOps Engineer, AWS

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a growing technology company focused on AI-powered data and analytics products. This is a full-time opportunity available remotely or hybrid from New York City. We're looking for someone with deep AWS experience who enjoys owning cloud infrastructure, improving automation, and partnering closely with engineering teams to build scalable, reliable systems. U.S. work authorization is required. No visa sponsorship is available at this time.

Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Location: 100% Remote (East Coast Located Candidates)

Responsibilities

• Own and support the company's AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability
• Build, deploy, and manage Kubernetes (EKS) environments and containerized applications
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation
• Improve and support CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release processes
• Work closely with engineering and security teams to implement infrastructure best practices and resolve production issues
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure and distributed systems
• Help guide technical decisions around cloud architecture and mentor other engineers as needed
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering
• Strong hands-on AWS experience across core services such as EC2, IAM, S3, EKS, and related technologies
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
• Strong Terraform experience and Infrastructure as Code expertise
• Experience building and supporting Git-based CI/CD pipelines
• Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or similar languages
• Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, monitoring, and high-availability environments
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of infrastructure initiatives
  
  

Compensation

• Base Salary: $130,000 - $150,000

• Remote opportunity with a need for candidates located on the east coast of the US, able to work EST Hours
