Senior DevOps Engineer / DevOps Lead – AWS Cloud Infrastructure

Experience: 8+ Years Location: WFH / Remote (India) Open Positions: Multiple Qualification: B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA or equivalent Work Timings: 1:30 PM IST – 10:30 PM IST Functional Area: DevOps Engineering We are seeking an experienced DevOps Lead – AWS Cloud Infrastructure to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available cloud platforms on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure, networking, security, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD automation, and cloud governance, along with working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services. This role requires a technically strong leader capable of driving cloud modernization initiatives, implementing best practices, ensuring operational excellence, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver resilient cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure. Define and enforce cloud architecture standards, governance frameworks, security controls, and operational best practices. Design and manage AWS networking solutions, including VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, Route 53, Security Groups, Network ACLs, and Load Balancers (ALB/NLB). Implement hybrid cloud and on-premises connectivity solutions. Drive cloud governance, cost optimization, and infrastructure reliability initiatives. Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation. Design, deploy, and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Amazon EKS. Implement AWS security best practices, IAM governance, secrets management, encryption, and compliance controls. Manage monitoring and observability solutions to ensure high availability and performance. Lead incident management, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities. Collaborate with engineering, security, and business teams to deliver cloud-native solutions. Mentor team members and promote DevOps best practices across projects. Skills, Knowledge & Experience 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). Strong hands-on expertise in AWS with working knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services. Deep experience designing and managing AWS networking solutions, including Amazon VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, Route 53, Security Groups, Network ACLs, and Application/Network Load Balancers (ALB/NLB). Hands-on experience with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), Docker, and containerized environments in production. Strong experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, or similar technologies. Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation. Strong understanding of cloud cost optimization and governance. Good understanding of Azure core infrastructure services and cloud architecture principles. Strong Linux administration, scripting, automation, troubleshooting, and networking skills. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities. Experience supporting US and/or European clients.
