Who You Are The Senior Digital Copywriter works closely with the Account Manager and the creative team to develop concepts and write copy that clearly communicates and strengthens our clients’ unique healthcare brands. This individual will specialize in creating engaging, research-based content for social media and other digital channels. This individual will also partner with designers to execute engaging digital content and ensure we use the latest social media platforms, formats, and strategies. Finally, the right person will be excited to develop and maintain an awareness of the competitive landscape, trends and conversations impacting our clients’ industries. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of agency experience as a copywriter, delivering content and concepts across social and digital platforms, preferably for healthcare brands. What You'll Do Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics (using social listening, case studies, white papers, etc.) in order to develop original content Developing content for social media posts and platforms, articles, product descriptions, and brand websites Assisting in developing content for advertising and/or promotional campaigns Contribute to campaigns from concept to completion in collaboration with the creative and account teams Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability and impact Conducting keyword & topic research using social listening & search tools and implementing SEO best practices to optimize content for discoverability Creating compelling headlines and body copy aligned to the client's brand guidelines that will capture the attention of the target audience Identifying audience interests and recommending new content to address client growth opportunities What You Bring Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills Willing to offer creative thinking in collaboration with subject matter experts Personable and comfortable working with a wide variety of people styles Experience writing for a variety of platforms and formats, especially social media. Experience writing in AP style and familiarity with AMA style guides are a plus. Self-motivated and able to function independently in a fast-paced working environment Strong organizational and time management skills A deep understanding of the social media space Strong attention to detail Working knowledge of content management systems Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and Google Workspace The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently The ability to work within established brand guidelines Knowledge of FDA regulatory requirements for Rx and Medical Device products is preferred Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, or communications is preferred What We Offer In addition to eligibility in the Company’s ESOP, Meraki offers competitive salary of $75k-$105k based on the experience and qualifications of candidates, along with full health insurance benefits (medical, dental, and eye), a 401K retirement program (with company match), and monthly internet/phone stipends, and has a flexible vacation policy.
