We're hiring a Product DSP Engineer to move RF signal processing from working in the lab to working in the field. You'll own the production signal chain: making it deterministic, real-time, and reliable in contested RF environments. This role will focus on implementing and refining algorithms to run consistently on the target hardware within the latency, power, and thermal budgets, with the adequate test coverage and validation. You'll have real ownership of your work, the problems are challenging, and your teammates hold themselves to a high standard. Responsibilities Production-izing detection, classification, tracking, and direction-finding/geolocation algorithms for target hardware (NVIDIA Jetson, FPGA, SDR) within fixed compute, memory, latency, and power budgets Building regression and characterization test suites that validate signal-chain performance against real and synthetic data Accounting for the behavior and inconsistencies of the target RF hardware in your algorithm design Making algorithms robust against real-world conditions: interference, multipath, dense emitter environments, dropouts, calibration drift, and temperature Doing the fixed-point/quantization, profiling, and optimization work needed to hit real-time on embedded targets Defining and tracking performance metrics (Pd/Pfa, sensitivity, DF accuracy, latency) as product acceptance criteria Supporting field test, reproducing field issues in the lab, and owning root cause through fix Qualifications BS/MS in mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related technical field Broad understanding of RF hardware effects, and intricacies of coherent and non-coherent systems Solid RF signal processing fundamentals: detection, estimation, the full transmit/receive chain Demonstrated track record shipping DSP into a product or fielded system Proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python for analysis, and C/C++ for production code Comfort working under embedded/real-time constraints, with profiling and optimization Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance; U.S. person required Nice-to-Have FMCW/automotive radar chains, MIMO arrays and subspace AoA estimation, or SAR production chains (backprojection, polar formatting, range migration) Fixed-point DSP implementation; FPGA or GPU/CUDA acceleration Test automation and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) for signal processing Experience fielding the same core technology in seemingly independent con-ops Join our team and be part of a dynamic, collaborative environment where innovation and creativity thrive. We offer competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects that will shape the future of radar technology. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
