Clickbait Agency is a YouTube ad creative and media buying agency. We only work with 8 and 9-figure DTC brands and our focus is simple, producing video creatives that scale profitably on YouTube and this means that you’ll be working directly on accounts most agencies don’t get near.

We care deeply about being the best at what we do which means fast iteration, high standards, and creatives that spend millions. We’ve built proprietary AI systems that support our creative and production workflows, and our video production runs through a dedicated team of AI prompters, so strategists can stay focused on strategy.

We think YouTube creative is going through a significant shift right now and we’re positioning ourselves at the front of it.

The role

We’re looking for a creative strategist who understands direct response at a serious level and can develop and script YouTube ads and mini VSLs for competitive ecommerce markets.

You’ll be responsible for research, angle development, hook writing, scripting, and iterating based on performance data. Your scripts go through our AI production team, so the output is fast and the feedback loop is short.

You’ll be working across multiple 8 and 9-figure brands simultaneously. The work is demanding and the bar is high.

What we’re looking for

We’re only looking for people who are genuinely good at this. If you’re earlier in your career or still developing your DR fundamentals, this isn’t the right fit yet.

You should have:

• 2+ years writing direct response video ads for YouTube or Facebook
• A real understanding of Eugene Schwartz’s awareness stages and how to apply them to cold traffic
• Experience scripting hooks, mini VSLs, and full ad concepts
• The ability to look at performance data and use it to build the next creative
• Proven spend behind your work — creatives you’ve written that have run profitably at scale
• Comfort using AI tools as part of your day-to-day workflow

Experience in compliance-sensitive categories like supplements or weight loss is a bonus. So is familiarity with unique mechanism development and RMBC.
