Aristotle is seeking a Senior Director, Advocacy to manage client advocacy programs and drive strategy and execution across the full range of our public affairs work. The right candidate has a few years of real advocacy experience under their belt, whether in a firm, on Capitol Hill, in a campaign, or inside an organization running issue campaigns. They understand how federal or state policy gets made, know how to build and move stakeholder coalitions, and are comfortable translating a client's policy goals into an organized campaign with clear tactics and measurable progress. This is a hands-on role. The Senior Director will lead day-to-day client work, coordinate across stakeholder engagement, coalition building, and digital activation, and partner with senior team members on more complex engagements. We want someone who is ready to do serious advocacy work and grow alongside a team that is winning. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute advocacy strategies that align with client goals and reach key audiences. • Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, policymakers, coalition members, and other stakeholders. • Serve as a strategist for client accounts and help strengthen Aristotle's presence in the advocacy marketplace. • Monitor policy developments and industry trends, then adjust strategies and tactics as needed. • Lead the creation of advocacy materials, including briefs, presentations, talking points, digital content, and social or website assets. • Organize and participate in fly-ins, lobby days, coalition meetings, stakeholder briefings, and other advocacy events. • Assist with coalition management and targeted public affairs efforts on behalf of clients. • Coordinate with internal teams so advocacy strategies connect with broader communications, data, digital, and client service plans. • Manage and mentor account managers and specialists while keeping campaigns organized, timely, and measurable. • Report on campaign progress, evaluate impact, and identify opportunities to expand client engagement. • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Communications, Public Affairs, or a related field • Minimum of 7 years of experience in advocacy, public affairs, policy, government relations, or a related field. • Proven ability to develop and execute successful advocacy campaigns and programs. • Strong understanding of the political and policymaking process, including experience engaging policymakers and stakeholders. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to make complex issues clear and persuasive. • Demonstrated relationship-building, leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and help identify new opportunities for client growth. Salary Range: $130k - $160k Base + Bonus All positions are Full-Time, with competitive compensation, medical benefits, paid vacation, 401k plan and stock options. Casual dress code and a non-corporate atmosphere make this a fun place to work and learn in a team environment. Please visit our website at .
