Your role at a glance The Senior Director, BTS Programs is responsible for developing, leading and executing NTT Global Data Centers' global Build To Suit (BTS) program strategy, ensuring strategic client opportunities are successfully translated into commercially viable, operationally executable and financially successful outcomes. Reporting to the Vice President, Strategic Alliances, this role leads a global team responsible for managing the complete BTS program lifecycle from opportunity qualification through contract execution, design coordination, governance, implementation and operational readiness. The Senior Director partners closely with Sales, Product, Development, Construction, Finance, Legal, Operations and executive leadership to ensure complex hyperscale and enterprise BTS programs are delivered on schedule, within financial objectives and aligned with long term corporate strategy. The Senior Director serves as the executive leader for BTS governance, driving operating discipline, executive visibility, cross functional alignment and continuous process improvement across one of the company's most strategic commercial growth initiatives. This highly visible leadership position requires exceptional commercial judgment, executive communication, organizational influence and the ability to lead global programs across a matrixed organization. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develops, mentors and leads a high performing global BTS Programs organization responsible for managing a portfolio of complex hyperscale and enterprise BTS programs and program managers. Fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation and execution excellence. Establishes executive governance, operating rhythms, portfolio reporting and KPI frameworks that provide visibility into program health, financial performance, delivery milestones and business outcomes. Serves as executive sponsor for strategic BTS opportunities, partnering with Strategic Alliance leadership throughout the pursuit, negotiation and execution lifecycle. Leads cross functional collaboration and execution across Product, Design, Construction, Operations, Finance, Legal, Procurement and executive leadership to ensure successful delivery of BTS commitments. Drives executive decision making as a thought leader by evaluating business tradeoffs, financial impacts, delivery risks and commercial considerations while recommending optimal execution strategies. Builds strong executive relationships with hyperscale customers and strategic partners, serving as a trusted advisor throughout major BTS engagements. Ensures comprehensive risk identification, dependency management, issue resolution and executive escalation across all BTS programs. KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES Executive leader with demonstrated ability to develop organizational strategy and translate vision into measurable business outcomes. Strong commercial acumen with deep understanding of hyperscale data center development, client engagement and strategic partnerships. Proven ability to lead large cross functional organizations across global matrixed environments. Exceptional executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders, customers and strategic partners. Advanced business judgment with demonstrated success evaluating complex commercial, financial and operational tradeoffs. Excellent leadership, coaching and organizational development capabilities. Strong negotiation, conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver concise executive level messaging. Demonstrated ability to build scalable governance frameworks, operational processes and performance management systems. ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, Project Management or related field or equivalent experience. MBA or other advanced business or technical degree preferred. PMP, PgMP or equivalent program management certification preferred. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE 12 to 15 years of progressive leadership experience in program management, strategic initiatives, commercial operations or business transformation. Minimum of 7 years leading global cross functional organizations or major strategic programs. Demonstrated experience leading complex customer programs involving executive stakeholders and multiple business functions. Experience supporting hyperscale clients, digital infrastructure, data centers, cloud, telecommunications or related industries strongly preferred. Proven success establishing governance frameworks, executive operating rhythms and portfolio management disciplines. Demonstrated ability to influence executive leadership and drive enterprise wide initiatives without direct authority. Experience managing globally distributed teams and operating across multiple geographic regions. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Primarily sitting with some walking, standing, and bending. Able to hear and speak using telephone and computer based communication systems. Operate computer, peripherals and other office equipment. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required to operate computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments. WORK CONDITIONS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as business needs require. Participation in technical planning sessions, site visits, industry conferences, and vendor engagements. Ability to support critical initiatives outside normal business hours when required. Occasional visits to operational facilities and technical environments requiring adherence to applicable safety and security procedures. Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners. Compensation Pay Range For roles residing in the US, we share pay and benefit levels to support pay transparency requirements. For other countries, we are more than happy to share our competitive pay and benefit levels during the interview process. This is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity. A monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device, if applicable. NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Base salary for this position is: $211,100 - $316,500 All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.
