Role Description The Senior Director Finance is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the financial strategy, planning, and reporting functions of Depco Power Systems. This role oversees financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support executive decision-making and long-term growth. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. The Senior Director Finance will analyze financial performance, identify trends and risks, and provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability, cash flow, and operational efficiency. This role collaborates closely with leadership and cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives, capital investments, and business process improvements, while building and mentoring a high-performing finance team.
Qualifications

• Strong finance and financial planning skills, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy.
• Proficiency in preparing, reviewing, and interpreting financial statements and financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, model scenarios, and deliver clear financial insights and recommendations.
• Extensive experience in corporate finance leadership roles, ideally within industrial, energy, or equipment-related sectors.
• Knowledge of GAAP or IFRS, internal controls, and regulatory compliance in a corporate environment.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and mentor finance teams in a remote or distributed work setting.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA) or professional certification (CPA, CFA) is preferred.
• Comfort with financial software, ERP systems, and advanced spreadsheet and modeling tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive continuous improvement in financial processes.
