About Ovative Group: Ovative Group is an independent, full-funnel media, measurement, and creative firm transforming how brands grow. We partner with leading names like American Eagle, Best Buy, Domino’s, The Home Depot, Polaris, and UnitedHealth Group to build smarter media and measurement programs that drive real, profitable growth. We don’t just track performance—we redefine it. Powered by our proprietary intelligence platform, EMRge, and our holistic metric Enterprise Marketing Return (EMR), we help brands connect revenue, customer, and brand outcomes into one clear picture of success. Our approach to full-funnel strategy, buying, and measurement delivers results that matter—and it’s getting noticed. Our work has been recognized by Digiday, Google, USA Today, Inc. 5000, and Search Engine Land. About the Role: Ovative’s company vision is to “Transform the measure of marketing success,” and the Measurement team is a critical driver of our differentiation and success. The Measurement team is responsible for turning data into action for our clients. We help simplify the complexities of marketing measurement and give our clients the confidence to make decisions that drive real impact for their business. In this role, you’ll own measurement strategy, execution, and staffing across a broad, complex portfolio spanning multiple client engagements and team leaders. You’ll manage Directors and/or Managers responsible for developing measurement strategies, managing data processes, implementing MMM and MTA solutions, leading testing & experimentation, generating standard and ad hoc reporting, and performing analyses that lead to insight and action. You’ll also own staffing decisions within your portfolio — allocating team members across clients, flagging capacity gaps, and making build/reassign calls as client needs evolve. Your organization will leverage a mix of Ovative’s proprietary tech through our EMRge solution, as well as best-in-class 3rd party tools and solutions to meet client needs. You’ll partner closely with internal Data Science, Client Services, Media Activation, and Product teams, and you’ll interact directly with key client stakeholders, ranging from C-level executives to functional operators across media, finance, and analytics functions. This role has the opportunity to drive significant value for Ovative and our clients. You’ll be at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry, facing challenging problems, and surrounded by a world-class team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment that requires innovative and structured thinking and problem-solving, this role will be a great fit. Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Empowering Others Lead, manage, and develop multiple teams of high-performing marketing measurement experts across a broad portfolio Manage and develop Directors and/or Managers, supporting career growth and individual success (estimate 3–5 leaders will be direct reports to this role) Own staffing and resourcing decisions within your portfolio — allocating team members across clients, flagging capacity gaps, and making build/reassign calls as client needs evolve Partner with other Measurement leaders to drive the direction, vision, roadmap, and execution of the Measurement team strategy Define and drive strategy across team structure, roles, development, and clients Work across internal Ovative teams to remove roadblocks, identify new solutions, and find ways to achieve Ovative goals together Lead efforts to grow and evolve our measurement skills, knowledge, toolset, product offerings, and culture Client Engagement Work with leadership (client and internal) to review services, identify areas for improvement, and adjust strategies and scope Serve as the senior measurement leader during crucial client moments, guiding the team and client to successful outcomes Own business development strategy for your portfolio — leading messaging and prospect conversations, and mentoring others in liaising with prospective clients to refine scopes of work Thought Leadership Address complex, open-ended analytics requests in a structured manner (often by working with your teams and other Ovative partners or clients) Identify and focus on what matters most to move the client’s business forward Lead efforts to grow and evolve our consulting & advisory skills to drive project-based expansions with new and existing clients Subject Matter Expertise Develop a deep understanding of marketing measurement technology and how it impacts data, analytics, and clients’ businesses Connect client data and business trends into a compelling story for clients and other partners, providing clarity and helping leaders understand the business Connect the measurement work Ovative does to clients’ business models, goals, and challenges Ovative Leadership Serve as a core member of the extended Leadership Team at Ovative — participating in monthly leadership forums focused on team, business, client, and strategic initiatives, and regularly interacting with the founder and CEO on efforts to strengthen and grow Ovative Own a strategic internal initiative across Ovative, bringing subject matter expertise and structured problem-solving to build a foundation for growth Partner with peer Sr. Directors on org-wide initiatives that span multiple teams and practice areas Support Ovative’s own strategy development and strategic planning process, along with the Measurement team’s strategy Requirements: 10+ years of experience working with clients (internal or external) 5+ years of experience managing managers or team leaders, not just individual contributors Experience within the marketing industry (digital marketing preferred) Experience working with MMM/MTA marketing models Experience designing and reading media tests & experiments Experience managing large data sets and summarizing them in useful reporting views Excellent communicator and collaborator across multiple stakeholders and partners Experience communicating and partnering with executive leaders (Directors, VPs, CMOs, CFOs, etc.) Must be able to thrive in ambiguous situations Action-oriented, with a self-driven hunger to take immediate action and make decisions quickly Preferred: experience working with web analytics data, such as digital marketing analytics software (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, ViQ, etc.) Preferred: able to connect complex marketing data and situations into tangible actions that progress initiatives forward Pay Transparency: At Ovative, we offer a transparent view into three core components of the total compensation package: Base Salary, Annual Bonus, and Benefits. For our Senior Director positions, including the position of Senior Director, Measurement Solutions, our compensation range is from $230,000 to $300,000 on an annualized basis, with the potential for an annual bonus of up to 35% of base salary. Working at Ovative Group: We provide strong, competitive, holistic benefits that understand the importance of your life inside and out of work. At Ovative, culture isn’t a buzzword—it’s the reason we’ve been named a Top Workplace for ten years running. We lead with trust, transparency, and a commitment to doing the hard work others avoid. We offer flexibility. You'll work from our Minneapolis, Chicago, or New York office on set days each week, and an option to work remote on others. Our open floor plan reflects our open communication and flat structure—where interns collaborate with VPs, analysts partner with senior leaders, and our CEO engages with every team member. Together, we create an environment where smart, driven people can do their best work and support one another in the process. We’re equally committed to inclusion and belonging. Ovative fosters a workplace where everyone can participate and thrive—regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression or other protected class status. Our benefits and policies reflect that commitment, from inclusive medical leave coverage for same-sex spouses to equitable care and support for all families.
