Is this job info correct?

Senior Director, Grants and Growth We are hiring a Senior Director, Grants and Growth to serve as our lead and subject matter expert for grants. This is not a back office compliance job. You will own the national grant portfolio end to end, from finding the opportunity through writing the application, winning the award, running it in compliance, and closing it out, and you will build and lead the grant writing capacity to do that across multiple states. We treat grants as a growth strategy. Funding is pursued because it opens new markets, underwrites new programs and additional levels of care, and expands access in communities that need it. You will be the person who decides which opportunities are worth chasing, makes that case to executive leadership, and then delivers on the awards you bring in. Because a number of our field, outreach, and patient access positions are funded in whole or in part by grant dollars, this role also carries business development responsibility. You will assist the Vice President of Growth in managing the business development function and its teams, make sure the field completes the activity and reporting that our awards require, and use data to point the team at the referral sources that actually convert. Over time, this role may take on direct management of additional growth and business development functions. What You Will Do Lead the grant function Serve as the internal authority on grants for executive, operational, clinical, and finance leadership. Own a national pipeline and calendar, tracking funding opportunities in every state where we operate or intend to operate. Pursue funding across federal discretionary awards, single state agency and block grant funding, state opioid response funding, opioid settlement dollars, county and municipal behavioral health funding, corporate giving, and private foundations. Lead application development, including narrative, logic model, staffing plan, evaluation plan, and budget narrative. Supervise, train, and develop grant writing staff across states, and set the standards they work to Turn funding into growth Build the grant strategy around our growth plan, targeting funding that supports market entry, new sites, new service lines, and expanded access. Evaluate every opportunity on growth impact, resource requirement, match obligation, and probability of award, and bring leadership a clear recommendation to pursue or decline. Report the portfolio in growth terms: dollars awarded, dollars under management, win rate, and the programs and access created. Run awards cleanly Keep every active award compliant, reported on time, and documented in an audit ready state. Track spend-down with Finance and raise under-utilization or allowable-cost questions early enough to act on them. Manage close-out, no-cost extensions, carryover requests, renewals, and competitive re-applications. Train operational and business development staff on the grant functions required from the field, and oversee completion of that work. Support business development and growth Assist the Vice President of Growth in managing the business development function and its teams, including field priorities, territory coverage, and performance expectations. Use conversion data, admission yield, payer mix, and level of care fit to direct field effort toward the referral sources that produce results. Track activity, productivity, and return on investment in Salesforce, and maintain the dashboards that report it. Get in the field for ride-alongs, coaching, and market-based training, and help develop the next set of team leaders. Drive the marketing and outreach activity our awards require, working through Marketing and Communications for execution. What We Are Looking For Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree preferred. Seven or more years of progressive experience in grant development and administration, including responsibility for awards through compliance and close-out. Three or more years of leadership experience managing staff or teams. Working knowledge of federal and state grant administration, allowable costs, match requirements, and audit expectations. Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, and comfort making decisions from data rather than anecdote. Strong writing, financial, and analytical skills, and the presence to represent an organization with funders and senior external partners. Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel independently by car and air. Why This Role Is Worth Your Time This is a rare combination of authorship and authority. You will not be handed a list of deadlines to service. You will decide what we go after, build the team that writes it, and then watch the awards you win turn into programs that open in communities that did not have access before. The role sits directly under the Vice President of Growth with visibility to executive leadership, and it has a clear path toward broader growth and business development responsibility.
