Circa £90k, salary depending on skills and experience Permanent Peterborough or Norwich / Hybrid working Full time with flexibility for part-time 30 days annual leave, car allowance, private healthcare, bonus and double match pension up to 7% Anglian Water offers a flexible approach, this role offers you the flexibility to work from home, Project Offices and from an Anglian Water office. Your primary location will be Anglian Water's office based in Thorpewood, Peterborough or in our Norwich Hub. We're looking for a number of Senior ECC Project Managers to oversee and drive the successful management of NEC3 PSC & ECC contracts across our AMP8 Alliance Agreements. In these high-impact roles, you’ll report directly to the Head of Contract Management and take ownership of contract management and administration across our Tier 1 supply chain partners. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our Contract Management and Assurance Strategy, ensuring that commercial outcomes are optimised and that our programmes are delivered efficiently and collaboratively. As a strategic leader, you’ll also support and develop a team of ECC Project Managers, act as a key escalation point, and lead positive engagement with stakeholders across the business and beyond. Contract Management & Administration Lead and oversee the effective administration of NEC contracts across Tier 1 Alliances. Manage a large investment portfolio, ensuring contract compliance, risk management, and timely issue resolution. Supervise and support the ECC Project Management team, addressing escalations and removing delivery barriers. Ensure robust assurance processes, maintain accurate financial records, and oversee procurement strategies and contract drafting. Promote collaboration and drive informed decision-making within governance structures and stakeholder networks. Performance Management & Portfolio Governance Monitor and report on portfolio performance, compliance, and risk at programme level. Lead governance activities, including decision-making and issue escalation across investment boards. Drive improvements through insights, feedback loops, and compliance strategies. Influencing the Alliancing Approach Champion a collaborative and commercially aware culture across project teams and stakeholders. Support the implementation of efficiency and improvement initiatives across projects. Align contract and commercial strategies with the broader goals of the Alliances and the business. Leadership and Strategy Lead and develop a high-performing ECC Project Management team. Drive strategic initiatives, business improvements, and support wider commercial operations. Represent senior leadership in key forums and support the development of commercial training and assurance frameworks. What does it take to be a Senior ECC Project Manager? Technical & Professional Expertise Degree in construction, engineering, or a science-related discipline NEC3 or NEC4 Project Manager Accreditation Extensive knowledge of NEC contracts, especially within construction and utilities Strong background in commercial and contract management Proven experience in managing large-scale construction contracts, including governance and assurance Skilled in dispute resolution and mediation Proficient in Office 365 and modern digital tools Leadership & Team Management Demonstrated leadership and team development experience Capable of mentoring, motivating, and managing individuals and teams Strong decision-maker with experience in business-critical roles Confident and robust in challenging issues and making strategic decisions Communication & Collaboration Clear, concise communicator at all levels Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills Ability to collaborate effectively across teams to achieve shared goals Skilled at building trust and maintaining positive relationships Strategic & Commercial Thinking Big-picture thinker with an understanding of strategic impact Commercially astute with a strong risk mindset Proactive in driving improvements and efficiency Skilled in managing competing priorities and navigating complex governance structures Personal Attributes Ethical, sustainable, and responsible in all actions Passionate, driven, and enthusiastic Solutions-focused with strong problem-solving ability Committed to continuous learning and developing others Why Apply?
