Z SUPPLY is seeking an experienced and motivated Ecommerce Sr. Merchandise Manager to join our growing ecommerce team. We’re looking for someone who has a big picture mentality, a positive attitude and is always willing to go the extra mile to create a best-in-class site experience for our customer. This position will be responsible for site analytics, product launching, product maintenance, page merchandising, site content, personalization and supporting the ecommerce team with ongoing projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate is creative, consumer-centric, and knows how to leverage data to drive results. POSITION DETAIL Full Time / Salary-Exempt Reporting to VP of Ecommerce Position Location – Headquarters, Costa Mesa, CA Hybrid Schedule – 4 Days In Office / 1 Day Remote *Not accepting applicants unable to work at Headquarters DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and execute the on-site merchandising strategy, optimizing navigation, collection pages, homepage content, search, upselling, and personalization. Analyze daily sales and site performance, taking data-driven action to improve conversion, average order value, purchase frequency, and other key KPIs. Partner with Analytics to improve the quality, accessibility, and actionability of site performance insights. Collaborate with Marketing, Creative, Buying, Copy, and Product teams to ensure timely product uploads and compelling execution of product, collection, and promotional launches. Partner with UX/UI, CRO, Analytics, and Web Development to ideate, QA, and launch features and tools that improve the customer experience and drive sales. Contribute to email and SMS campaign strategy, ensuring strong, cohesive merchandising across all campaign emails. Own site accuracy and brand standards across imagery and copy, including daily site audits, product re-shoots, and necessary follow-ups. Identify and execute solutions to business opportunities and challenges, including initiatives to reduce return rates. Serve as a senior cross-functional partner, independently driving projects, synthesizing perspectives, and translating opportunities into clear action plans. Partner with the email team on leading promotional asset briefing and execution across site, email, paid media, and other customer touchpoints. Partner with the VP of Ecommerce and CRO Manager to develop and execute the website personalization strategy across the customer journey. Support assortment and go-to-market planning through customer insights, seasonal style-out decks, and hindsight reporting. Lead re-shoot needs and follow-ups to ensure the site is consistently up to brand standards. Optimize on-site search based on product priorities, customer behavior, and emerging trends, and champion on-site AEO initiatives. Stay current on the women’s apparel competitive landscape, merchandising, personalization, Shopify, analytics, and industry best practices. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Advocate for customer needs across key touchpoints and milestone meetings. Manage, coach, and develop a team of two Site Merchandisers. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS 8+ years of ecommerce merchandising experience in the fashion apparel industry. Shopify and project management systems experience a must. Dynamic Yield (or other personalization platform) & Klaviyo experience strongly preferred. Full Circle, Asana, Okendo, Loop, Global Edit (DAM) and Google Analytics experience a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Gmail & Google Slides. Strong creative and merchandising instincts with an exceptional eye for product and brand presentation. Strategic, solutions-oriented thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven people leader and collaborative team player with the ability to build strong teams and cross-functional partnerships. Highly organized, reliable, detail-oriented, and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership. Ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Perform additional responsibilities as needed. PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS This is currently 4 days in an office / 1 day remote position. Most of the work is conducted in an air-conditioned office environment or at home office.
