Senior EDI Functional Consultant

Overview About the job We're looking for an EDI Functional Consultant to join our Professional Services team supporting our remote USA operations. You'll help our national client base implement and manage EDI solutions using our Produce Pro Document Exchange module. About the role You'll support the operation of our Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) service, working with clients and their trading partners to configure, test and maintain trading partner relationships. Your focus will be helping customers plan, design and implement EDI solutions within the Produce Pro ecosystem. Key Responsibilities You'll conduct EDI document testing with internal and external teams to ensure successful integration, and create data mapping documents per trading partner specifications. You'll investigate and resolve EDI-related issues to minimize business disruptions, design solutions by determining business needs and technical feasibility, and manage multiple project initiatives while coordinating schedules. You'll answer customer questions about the Document Exchange module functionality, submit project proposals to clients, and work with the Produce Pro programming staff as needed to support implementations. About you You're someone who enjoys working in the EDI and data integration space. You're naturally solution-focused, comfortable working across internal teams and with external clients, and you bring a consultative approach to understanding customer needs. You hold a Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience, with strong working knowledge of the EDI lifecycle including partner engagement, testing, implementation and troubleshooting. You have a technical background with experience in EDI standards and protocols, and can assist customers with planning and implementing EDI solutions. To be ahead of the pack, you might have: Experience with 1 to 4 years of EDI consulting Familiarity with non-standard formats like delimited and fixed-width files Background working with X12 EDI documents Knowledge of secure file transfer protocols and methods Preferred Skills X12 EDI documents (810, 832, 850, 855, 856, 860) FTP, SFTP and FTPS XML file formats Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC What's in it for you?
