  • Implement real-time control algorithms, diagnostics, fault management, and safety-critical software functions.
  • Design and maintain software architectures for distributed embedded systems.
  • Develop software using industry best practices for reliability, maintainability, scalability, and safety.
  • Integrate hardware, sensors, actuators, and communication interfaces.
  • Develop and validate CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and other vehicle communication protocols.
  • Support HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop), SIL (Software-in-the-Loop), bench testing, and vehicle validation activities.
  • Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, systems, manufacturing, and quality engineering teams.
  • Participate in software requirements development, architecture reviews, code reviews, and release management.
  • Support troubleshooting of vehicle-level software issues during development, production, and field operations.
  • Contribute to cybersecurity, diagnostics, OTA update strategies, and future connected vehicle initiatives.
  • Mentor junior engineers and help establish engineering standards, tools, and development processes.

Required QualificationsEducation

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.

Experience

  • 8+ years of professional embedded software development experience.
  • 5+ years of automotive, electric vehicle, heavy-duty vehicle, aerospace, industrial automation, robotics, or other safety-critical embedded systems experience.
  • Proven experience delivering production software for embedded hardware platforms.

Technical Skills

Strong experience with:
