Our Global Labor & Employment Law team is looking for a Polish-qualified employment lawyer to take on a senior regional role supporting Poland and Europe West. This role will be based in Wroclaw, Poland, and will serve as the lead employment legal advisor for Poland and assigned Europe West countries. You will join the Global Labor & Employment Law unit within Nokia’s Legal, Compliance and Sustainability organization. We work collaboratively to provide strategic labor and employment law counsel and practical support to HR professionals and business leaders worldwide. This is a high-impact role with responsibility for advising on complex employment law matters, managing legal risk, and supporting business priorities across a multinational environment. The role offers the opportunity to partner closely with HR, business leaders, Legal & Compliance colleagues, and employee relations stakeholders on both local and multinational matters. Provide pragmatic, commercially focused labor and employment law advice to HR and business leaders. Act as the lead employment law advisor for Poland and assigned Europe West countries. Advise on reorganizations, reductions in force, employee consultations, works council/union matters, collective bargaining topics, and employee representative processes. Develop proactive, business-driven solutions to manage HR legal matters and mitigate employment law risk. Partner with HR, Legal & Compliance, and other teams to design and implement employment-related policies, processes, and procedures. Manage employment litigation and disputes, directly or with external counsel, including individual and collective matters. Deliver training and communications to build awareness, influence behavior, and upskill managers and HR on employment law topics. Anticipate employment law trends and monitor market and regulatory developments affecting multinational technology employers. Lead or support strategic projects and global priorities, including HR compliance, diversity, data privacy, human rights, and other employment-related initiatives. Provide labor and employment law support on transactions, including M&A, outsourcing, insourcing, and other commercial matters. Polish-qualified lawyer with strong labor and employment law expertise. Significant experience advising multinational companies on employment law matters. Experience supporting employment law matters across Western Europe / Europe West. Strong business judgment and ability to provide practical, risk-based legal advice. Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively across HR, Legal & Compliance, and business teams. Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to advise senior stakeholders. Strong English-language communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with restructurings, employee consultations, works councils, unions, collective bargaining, or other employee representative matters. Experience managing employment litigation and external counsel. Experience supporting cross-border projects, M&A, outsourcing, or HR compliance initiatives. Strong project management skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative, open, and credible communication style, with the ability to build trust across cultures and functions.
